We are filled with pride to have partnered with PROJECTHRIVE to create the crocheted pieces in our Avalon Collection.
The Hastings Headscarves and Purses have been handmade by female artisans, working from home in purdah, in the villages of Uttar Pardesh, India.
We extend the same care we take to design our pieces to the hands that create them.
Project Thrive is a family-run initiative that employs skilled artisans, providing financial and educational support in fair trade conditions.
The creation of our crocheted pieces has employed 12 women, offering 160 days of purposeful work, helping these artisans to support their families. Orders like ours are the only opportunity for income for these communities.
Our pieces provide for their families, and yours.
Our crocheted pieces tell the story of dedication and craft, with many hours bestowed upon them, ensuring safe working conditions and fair pay for our artisans.
Please join us in celebrating the heritage and traditional skills of our artisans.
