Mood Board: Avalon Collection

While we design our pieces to be worn all year round, we are always inspired by the seasons; from the first buds that bloom on September 1st every year, to the many shades of green as leaves unfurl after a long, sleepy Winter.

The sunsets change colour as days grow longer, and we take note of each colour we see. 

Welcome to the mood board that has shaped our Avalon Collection.

The delicate details of shells and petals, recreated by artists and artisans, have also been of great inspiration for this collection. As have vintage travel books showing cabins by the sea, photographed on film. We looked to capture the feeling of stepping out of the ocean, salt on skin, knowing how delicate the drape of a dress needs to be to preserve the sense of weightlessness. Moving from mermaid to mother as you turn to care for young ones covered in sand, and how sun coverage and ease of movement are key.
